  1. Nice one dutch, sounds dope....but is this really 92, looks more like 88?

  2. @statichiss: most tracks are from 86-88 but i think that 'The TR 808 Is Coming' is from 90/91.

  3. @statichiss: also, in the 2nd tape the year 1992 is mentioned.

  4. @DUTCH - Many many thanks fella, i'll give it a thorough listen, really appreciated

The show I was hoping to find was from November 1992, as explained in the Source article I posted -

It was the very first time, EVER, that Herc had been ON AIR, and it was with Red...Like whoah

@StaticHiss - Supp fella, you might be right, these are all typical bangers for late 80s period - but the DJ Drank alblum didnt drop until 92 [the St Ides thing Geto Boys - My Malt's Playin' Tricks On Me] so im stumped too, until I listen to it [ah, that ole chestnut]

  5. @Dutch - Its 92, @StaticHiss, nice spot, yeh Red even says it. Its some kinda throwback show, Red sounds kinda bored [hence hardly any on air speech] but the mixing is decent regardless

The Prince Messiah [Mastermixer] presentation was awkward in my opinion, I preferred Jeff Foxx [probably because his tag-line was 'The Fox that Rocks the Box'...

Again Dutch, if you find any Red from NOVEMBER 1992, keep it in mind that it could be the 1st time KOOL HERC appeared on radio, ever...

Here's a full tracklist [Although I dont recall a Willie D St Ides track on anything else tbh]
